Clay Birds

This week, the children have been sculpting clay birds. They began by shaping the bird’s body and beak using their fingers. They then used a variety of tools to add details such as wings, feathers, and eyes.

Once they have been in the kiln the children will get to paint them, which will make their birds even more ‘life like’.
