Beaumanor
What an exciting few days we have had! Our Year 2 and 3 children went on their first EVER residential to Beaumanor and I think we can say that it was a huge success. They had a fantastic time exploring, learning new skills and, most importantly, having LOTS of fun!
Our Year 3s took part in a Robin Hood themed day which consisted of a treasure hunt, archery, playing a game called ‘Outlaw’, den building and orienteering. In the evening, we played hide and seek in the cellars in the dark! Quite a few of the children conquered their fear of the dark which we are incredibly proud of!
Our Year 2 children took part in a Pirate Day. They had a number trail to complete, a bird trail, pond dipping, a treasure map trail before being led into a super secret pirate den! They heard an old pirate tale and got to try pirate biscuits too! They had lots of fun in the evening learning how to build a campfire while staying safe before being given some free time to build dens with their friends.
Below are just some of the pictures from our adventures - enjoy!
