Fire Safety

We were very lucky this week because Firefighter Michael came to visit to tell us how to stay safe if there is a fire.

He taught us how to STOP, DROP and ROLL if our clothes catch fire.

How to react if there is a fire in our homes and how to get out safely by checking the temperature of a closed door with the back of our hands, crawling to stay low under smoke and shouting ‘FIRE’ to wake our grown ups.

He then told us to ring 999 to ask for help.

We had lots of fun and now know how to be extra safe!
