Beaumanor Hall

This week, the Year 2 children went on their first residential to Beaumanor Hall. They had a fantastic time there taking part in a pirate day which included a treasure hunt, a memory game to win treasure and were even tested on our cannon ball firing skills! They then had to show off their balancing skills by taking cups of grog across an obstacle course to pour into a bucket at the end. The team with the most at the end won! In the evening we had a campfire and worked as a team to build dens.

Day 2 was all about teamwork. The children had to work together to get a hoop around the circle, a ball across an area just using pipes and holding on to each other as they navigated the balance beams on the park. They even did some archery which they were very successful at! Watch out Robin Hood!
