Learning about the Holocaust

This week, we finished our class reading book, “Then” by Morris Gleitzman. It details happenings during the Nazi occupation of Poland in the 1940s and contains some harrowing accounts of what Jews at that time were forced to endure. The children have been really enthralled by the story and were keen to know the next steps of the main character.
