Landmarks

This week in Reception, the children have been learning about famous landmarks from around the world. They explored how landmarks are unique and special to different places. We began by looking at landmarks closer to home in Loughborough, such as the Sock Man. The children then discovered famous UK landmarks including Stonehenge, and the Angel of the North, before travelling further afield and looked at the Eiffel Tower and the Piramids. Then they looked at natural landmarks around the world, such as the Great Barrier Reef.
