Spring 2

Our topic for Spring 2 is all about Independence and choices and we will be exploring our learning question “How can I keep healthy?”

Through this question children will be learning how the simple choices they make each day can help them feel healthy, confident, and ready for play and learning. They will explore healthy habits such as eating well, staying active, getting enough rest, and keeping clean so they can understand how to look after their own bodies. They will also think about how kindness, sharing, and helping friends create a warm and welcoming environment for everyone. Alongside this, they will discover how caring for their surroundings—tidying up, recycling, and respecting the places they use—helps keep their community a lovely place to live and grow.

Please keep an eye on our webpage as we will upload photographs on a regular basis, to showcase the wonderful learning that is going on in our indoor and outdoor classrooms.

PE this half term will be on Friday, so please ensure your child comes to school dressed in their PE kit. This includes black joggers/leggings, plain white t-shirt and black pumps. Children will also need to wear a black zip jacket, or their school jumper.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to either speak to a member of our team or get in touch via email; office@robertbakewellprimary.com
