Owl Collage

This week in art, the children have been using the techniques of printing and collage. The inspiration was an owl, linking to our learning about birds and our story of the week, Owl Babies. First we learnt how to rip paper, then moved on to tearing smaller pieces. The children then used the pieces of paper to help them collage an owlet. We also used sponges to print an owl shaped body and added features of eyes, beak and feathers to it.
