Let’s weigh it

This week in maths we have been exploring the vocabulary heavy and light. The children searched around the classroom to find different objects and used the pan scales to compare their weights. They loved predicting which item would be heavier or lighter before placing them on the scales, and were excited to see the pans tip as they tested their ideas.
