Challah Bread

The children are learning about Judaism in this terms RE. The focus has been what are special objects and times if you are Jewish. As the Shabbat is a special time during the week for many Jewish people and families the children in Beech class made Challah bread. As Challah bread is usually eaten during Shabbat and the three parts of the bread are all meaningful: truth, peace and justice.
