This week, Birch practised with the clay by using different materials to test out how to make different patterns and marks in their clay. We learned about making impressions and in relief where we use extra clay and our score and slip technique to make a 3D effect. The adults were really impressed with the children’s concentration and we can’t wait to see what our finished tiles will look like in a couple of weeks time!
