History- Victorian Toys

This week, we continued our journey into the past to see how toys have changed over time. We looked at what sorts of toys children had during the Victorian Era and learned how there were different toys for rich and poor children, boys and girls.

Then we made our own peg doll using wooden clothes pegs and scraps of fabric and wool, just as poorer children would have done over 100 years ago.
