Our Toys

Our new history topic is all about the history of toys and how they have changed and evolved over time. This week we explored what modern toys are like today. The children were allowed to bring in a favourite toy to talk about to the class and then everyone had time to explore and play with a selection of different toys. We thought about how you play with them, what they are made of and their features- such as any electronics, lights, sounds, buttons/ switched/ controls, mechanisms, movement and technology.
