Science- Testing materials

This week KS1 have been investigating materials again in order to find the best ones that have the properties needed to make a rocket. We were testing the strength of different materials by suspending them and placing a heavy water bottle on top. If the material held the weight of the bottle without collapsing, we knew it was a strong material.
