A Taste of Greece!

As part of our topic this half term, we have been learning about Greece—exploring both its fascinating history and delicious cuisine. Next week, the children will be making their own tzatziki dip and homemade pitta breads, which they will fill with a selection of tasty Greek ingredients.

To prepare for this, we held a special tasting day today. The children had the opportunity to sample a variety of foods including olives, sun-dried tomatoes, roasted peppers, pitta bread, tzatziki and feta cheese. They had great fun trying the different flavours and discussing their favourites!

After tasting everything, the children chose which ingredients they liked best and decided what they would like to include in their very own pita breads when we make them next week.

Well done to the children for stepping out of their comfort zone and trying new flavours too!
