Electrical circuits

In Science, the children have been exploring electricity by building simple electrical circuits using wires, a cell and a light bulb. They investigated how to connect the components correctly to make a bulb light up and learned the difference between complete and incomplete circuits. The children also experimented with adding switches to their circuits, observing how opening and closing a switch affects the flow of electricity. Through this, they developed an understanding of how switches control electrical devices.

As part of their learning, the children also discussed the dangers of electricity and how to stay safe, including why we must never touch exposed wires or electrical appliances with wet hands. They showed great curiosity and enthusiasm while working scientifically and testing their ideas.
