Welcome to the Alder class page

Welcome to your child’s first year of learning at Robert Bakewell Primary and your introduction to our #Team RB community. We hope that over the next few weeks you will see that we are indeed a school that strives for excellence for all of our children. We cannot wait to start our learning journey together and our first topic is all about Being me in my world and we will be exploring our learning question “Who am I and where do I belong?”

Through this question we will be learning more about ourselves and our new peers, whilst building strong positive relations with those around us. Children will be introduced to rules and routines that will help develop strong foundations for learning. Please keep an eye on our webpage as we will upload photographs on a regular basis, to showcase the wonderful learning that is going on in our indoor and outdoor classrooms.

PE this half term will be on Monday, so please ensure your child comes to school dressed in their PE kit. This includes black joggers/leggings, plain white t-shirt and black pumps. Children will also need to wear either a black zipped jacket, or their school jumper.
