Safer Internet Day

Today, Birch class learned all about voice assistants and AI as part of Safer Internet Day. We learned what a voice assistant does and discussed if we had seen them before or even had them in our own homes. We then talked about what good things a voice assistant could do to help us in our day to day lives but also some of the unsafe things that they could be used for.

The children were excellent at discussing what things could be unsafe and what they can do to make sure that they are using IT safely in their homes and at school. We finished off by designing our own voice assistant and deciced what one thing it could do.
