We hope you had a relaxing break and are ready for an action packed half term!

Our new history topic focuses on the changes from the Ancient Greeks and in DT, we will be designing and making a Mediterranean feast inspired by Greek cuisine artefacts.

Our Year 3/4 production, The Heroes of Troy, will be on 26th March at 9.15am and 2pm.

Our PE days Wednesday and Thursdays, with a focus on hand-ball. Please ensure children come to school dressed in their PE kit. This includes black tracksuit, white t-shirt and trainers.

We love reading at Robert Bakewell, so please try to read as much as possible with your child at home and log it onto Boom Reader. We cannot wait to hear all about their exciting reads and present them with their rewards!

Don’t forget to keep an eye on our webpage as we will upload photographs regularly to showcase the fabulous learning happening in class and our Stars of the Week.

Biographies

Mrs Hill - full time class teacher: Spending every day with your children is an absolute joy. We have a lot of fun and get lots of learning done too! This is my fifteenth year of teaching and my eighth at Robert Bakewell. My favourite subjects are Maths, Art, History, Science and French and I also lead the school choir. my hobbies include reading, walking my dog and playing games with my family.
