WB 1.12.25 - Iron Age Pottery

After learning how people in the Iron Age made and used pottery in their daily lives, pupils designed and shaped a small pot using traditional hand-building techniques. This activity links our History learning about Iron Age Britain with DT skills, as children planned, created and evaluated their own products. It has also helped the children develop creativity, fine motor skills and an understanding of how materials were used in the past.
